Venue Rentals

The District of Wells manages a number of spaces that can be rented in the District for a variety of events.*

The Community Hall is an excellent venue for larger groups, parties, or reception events. The Banquet Room is a smaller more intimate space used by the community for potlucks, bingo, and open houses. The Ballet Room is used regularly for yoga but has also been used for Chinese dance and other movement classes.

The Wells Community Facility Centre, when not in session or otherwise booked has spaces that can be rented either as studio space or by visiting school groups.

If none of these suit your needs there are other venues around town that can be rented: The Sunset Theatre is a beautifully restored 1930's Theatre and a great space for any performance of theatre, music, or film. The Curling Club can be rented for parties and other events.

Nearby, Barkerville also has space for meetings and private functions and unique options for weddings.
