Wells

Wells BC Est 1933 Wells is more than just gold. Wells is History, Art, and Adventure. Wells is the gateway to Barkerville Historic Town, Bowron Lake Provincial Park, and the Gold Rush Circle Route. You can start or end your adventure here!

 

Barkerville

Barkerville is provincially, nationally, and internationally recognized for its historic significance associated with its place in western Canada’s gold rush era and the role the gold rush played in BC joining Canada.

 

Bowron Lake

Bowron Lake Provincial Park, 32 km east of Wells, provides one of the world’s best canoeing opportunities and some of British Columbia finest wildlife viewing.

 

Troll Ski Resort

Troll Ski Resort is located 41km east of Quesnel, BC, Canada, on highway 26 near an area known as Wingdam. Troll Ski Resort was built by Lars Fossberg in 1972, and 45 years later it is still run by the family. Troll has developed into a great mountain, with 4 surface lifts and 1700 vertical feet of terrain.
